About Baba Kaluramjee, very little is known as about the identity and antecedents. He was also famous by the name of Aughar Kaluram Fakir who lived with Baba Kinaram at Krim-Kund for long time Baba Kinaram had darshan of Bhagwan Dattatreya at Girnar mountain who promised him to come to Kashi. It is evident from book-Jeevan Charitavali of Kinaram that it was Bhagwan Dattatreya who meet Baba Kinaram in the guise of Baba Kaluram at harishchandra ghat of Varanasi and the two recognized each other by their divine signs.Baba Kaluram in fact dissolved his identity , divine powers and austerities in the self of Baba Kinaram and made him a legendary aughar monk in India. This fact is remarkably authenticated by the famous couplet of Baba Kinaram :- “Kina-Kina Sab Kahe, Kalu Kahe Na Koye Kalu-Kina ek Bhayo , Ram Kare so Hoye” (All recite Kina, Kina but nobody say Kalu whereas the fact is that both Kalu and Kina are one and things happen according to wish of Lord Ram) Baba had deep love for the people who resided in village. He said that those who lived in village should visit temple, sthals, pleace of demi-gods and goddesses(Sati-Chautara,Brahma-chautra etc)regularly. So long as villagers would maintain the custom, there would be peace, love and progress in the village. The negligence of such place might bring catastrophe and natural calamity in the village. He held the view that communal gathering and prayers were the west method of generating love and respect among people. It was from that place youngster should learn to respect elders and vice versa. By Collative such practices people can learn the following morals in their life- 1. mantra, 2.respect, 3.rghit angle of thinking 4.compassion 5.friendship 6.loss of hatred and envy 7.mercy 8.fearlessness 9.desire less ness 10.benevolence.
